Scheduled scans now run

• In earlier versions, scheduled scans never completed. They ran in a separate background helper, and macOS blocked that helper from reading your host list and SSH credentials, so every nightly run stopped before it scanned anything. Scheduled scans now run inside Noxen itself.
• If you registered a scheduled scan before, there is nothing to do: opening 1.2.2 re-registers it. macOS may show a notice that Noxen added a background item. If you never registered one, go to Settings > Scanning > Register scheduled scan.
• The list of hosts to scan now stays in step with your enrolled hosts automatically.
• Each night's results appear in the dashboard the next time you open Noxen.

Faster feed updates

• A full CVE feed import is now about twice as fast. If you are updating from an older version, the one-time import that follows the upgrade finishes in roughly half the time it took in 1.2.0.
• While a full update runs, your existing database stays in place until the new one is ready.
• The progress banner now says "Importing full feed" during a full import, instead of calling it a delta.

Easier to read

• Severity colours, labels and secondary text now meet accessibility contrast standards in both Light and Dark Mode, including on the glass cards.
• Upgrade buttons keep their full colour in Dark Mode.
• Keyboard shortcuts in the command palette (⌘⇧P) are easier to see.

CVE feed: daily updates in seconds

• Daily feed updates now download only what changed, typically well under 1 MB, and apply in about a second. Until now, the first launch of every day re-imported the whole database, a wait of 3–5 minutes.
• The feed now includes the complete NVD history, not just the last two weeks of changes. Older CVEs in software your hosts run outside the distro packages are matched again.
• Records withdrawn by Debian and Ubuntu are now removed from your local database instead of lingering and causing stale findings.
• New installs start from a complete, recent database, so the first scan works straight away.

A calmer, clearer interface

• One feed status indicator instead of two, with Refresh built in.
• The trial banner can be dismissed for the session until the last three days of the trial.
• Upgrade options are in Settings → Account and the command palette (⌘⇧P). Starting a trial is one click.
• Edit and Delete have moved into a "More actions" menu, away from Scan, and Delete now asks for confirmation.
• The window title shows where you are, and scan times read the same way everywhere ("just now", "6 hr ago").
• Critical findings are readable in Dark Mode, and remediation commands display as code.
• The paywall and welcome screens fit the window and no longer cut off their content.
